Nancy J Brooks is an inquisitive, skilled and intuitive Registered Massage Therapist in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario, a graduate of Sutherland-Chan Schools Inc. and in clinical practice since 2000. Ms. Brooks is also a musician. She holds a Bachelor of Musical Arts in Performance from The University of Western Ontario and an Artist Diploma in Orchestral Training in French Horn from The Royal Conservatory of Music.
Through compassion and an ongoing commitment to professional development, Nancy has fostered a strong client-centred, goal-oriented, trauma informed, inclusive Massage Therapy practice with a special interest in injury treatment and prevention.
Enriched with the duality of her professional training, Nancy’s treatment approach combines evidence-based orthopaedic modalities with intuitive healing practices. She seamlessly weaves together these two distinct pathways into one deeply authentic, hands-on healing experience that invites profound relief of physical, emotional and spiritual tension.
Outside her clinical practice, Nancy is an enthusiastic student clinic instructor at Sutherland-Chan Schools Inc. She is grateful for the opportunity to share knowledge with next generation RMTs, generously given to her by beloved colleagues and teachers.
When Nancy is not massaging clients, mentoring students or making music, she loves to practice yoga, go on walks and watch rugby with her Irish Lad and their two cats, Rog & Howie!
